The Morningland Papers: How A Single Mom Lost Her Twins to a Long Beach Cult

In California you may find quite a lot of New Age practice following in the footsteps of Madame Blavatsky, a Russian visionary responsible for this spiritual ideology. Often combining psychology, Christianity and space / science, and including East meets West concepts, the movement is thought to usher in a new age of humanity.
One such metaphysical church was established in 1973 at 2600 E. 7th St. in Long Beach, CA. It is turning 50 years in 2023. This has caused one family to begin speaking out over concerns of current leadership practices: my family.
Though the original founders are deceased, they took time to create others in their image: Gopi Saravati, Gopi Chokru and the Lama (Kamazi X5) are the leaders of concern. These scoundrels are supported by other dedicated members (and each other) and they now recruit just as underhanded and dishonestly as ever, seeking money, labor, sex, and energy from new recruits around the world from their home base.
The small group carrying on the outlandish criminal techniques which destroyed my family have not changed at all.
Using one on one online meetings or member recruitment, the group clearly plans to live forever and has buried Sri Donato under the compound where the clergy has always secretly lived.
None of us are supposed to talk about how people are treated there but in 2022 my family broke the code of silence after 30 some years. I began The Frankie Files Podcast in 2022, to tease my forthcoming memoir and allow details of my story to be documented, warning others.

Recently I finally interviewed my Mom in a two part candid episode. Getting to the point where we speak openly of our cult horror story has literally taken a lifetime for us both. My twin is not involved, regrettably. Many cult families never reunite, so this is a true beacon of hope to any cult kid trying to communicate with their parents. I hope you do.
Mom painstakingly reviews a cassette tape recording from 1987, where she had sat in her car, parked near Morningland, to see her twin red head daughters on their birthday in September. She had been doing this for three years and never saw us. This time, Gopi Saravati, Gopi Chokru, The Lama (Kamazi X5), came with a possee of minions curbside at her car to mock, humiliate, film and verbally assault her, all the while keeping us isolated from her, and keeping our mail from us while we lived like stow - aways inside the compound (illegally). In Ep. 72 (here) I finally interview Mom about her side of our story, finally allowing this mother's abuse to be heard by the world. There is no excuse for the cruel shunning and public mockery this ‘church’ exacted on my Mom.
After 50 years, we wish to let it be known the true nature and character of the leadership at Morningland (The Monastery) and what they are playing at. It's not pretty.
