Understanding One Taste, the wellness business which sensationalized the Bay Area and many other U.S. locations, focusing on a 15 minute orgasm which heals all, requires asking many questions.

One previous employee, Ruwan Meepagala, was reading material of the leader Nicole Daedone long before he “stroked”. The term stroke is used to describe the person administering the 15 minute orgasm, a ritual described in the Ted Talk by Daedone, the group’s female creator in 2007. Meepagala had read about Orgasmic Meditation in the Four Hour Body (Tim Ferris) during 2010.

He gives Frankie Files Podcast an interview on the whole experience of being a One Taste employee, stroking, and what it was really like living at the Orgasmic residence in New York’s Harlem location pre 2014.

Much has been covered in multiple articles like Forbes, Bloomberg, and other lifestyle or business media outlets including a recent documentary on Netflix. Meepagala classified the documentary, which he was in, as “sensationalized”. This is part of what our podcast is about. Let’s get the story straight.

Living on premise, having motivation to understand the ideology of One Taste, Meepagala tells an interesting story of how it effected him sexually, bad and good and ugly. His story may surprise you as it did me.
