 Carbon Nation Cult Leader Arrested in Georgia

The news is coming out about the Carbon Nation Cult led by a man who was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, and it isn't pretty. According to 11alive.com The Georgia cult so named the Carbon Nation Cult is lead by Nature Boy aka Chief aka Eligio Bishop.

Bishops philosophy includes having multiple wives so he can breed with a goal of inbreeding. Bishop’s wife Velvet Marquez [WorldCatholicNews] who joined him from connecting online and travelling various places to meet him tried leaving after birthing their daughter. She got away on the forth try. She sustained death threats and the withholding of her identity documents and credit cards to make her stay.

Marquez said Bishop enjoyed having polygamous relationships, and would often force her to have sexual relations with multiple women.

“There were times when I told him, ‘I don’t want to be with her, I don’t want to be with you.’ And he would say, ‘You don’t have a choice. You do what I say to do,’ and then it turned physical because I was in such resistance,” she recalled.

Bishop supported violence to women for control and regularly beat his wife even while pregnant. He made members run on rocks according to one female member it "felt like glass".

According to NY Daily News on 4/18/22 Eligio Bishop was arrested and charged of rape, false imprisonment and three counts of prohibition on nude or sexually explicit electronic transmissions. According to online jail records from DeKalb County, Atlanta, Police Department.

A report filed Mar.30, 2022 started the Special Victims Unit looking into Bishop.

The cult focused on sexual and naturalist themes but recently on social media posts from Bishop showed he called himself Th3 3God. He also posted a video online claiming he was the return of Christ & misunderstood.

Bishop was a former model, stripper and sex worker in Atlanta who forced followers to surrender their money, credit cards, bank info to join his cult according to the Star.

In 2020 Bishop and some members were arrested in Hawaii for violating COVID19 quarantine protocols. They were sent to California.

An Atlanta area neighbor witnessed several instances of abuse. Erikka Carrol at first moved from New York to Honduras to be with Bishop and lasted a years. The abuse was both physical and emotional.

"They brainwashed me. Now he has women fighting each other and he's putting hands on the men."

Fox 5 Atlanta states Eligio Bishop was denied bail at his arraignment adding that one of the charges includes revenge porn. Daylin Armstead claims the porn is for sex education. The group started as a black counter culture group. "The Black man is God"  one follower said and yawl just locked up the messiah.

The group who follow him call him 3God. Bishop is a U.S. citizen and Atlanta native but took his Carbon Nation Cult group to Central South America. The group has been asked to leave not only Costa Rica but Panama and Nicaragua.

Bishop's profile can still be seen at exploretalent.com and it states his age as 39, height 6'2", weight 200 lbs., of mixed race ethnicity and eye color brown. Bishop is currently in DeKalb County jail Georgia.

My comments are that it is interesting to see what these cult criminals get arrested for and what they get away with.
